This project was an important step in demonstrating the tracking capabilities of medical assets and personnel using advanced Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology, which allows for positioning accuracy of up to 0.5 meters.
The main task was to create a system that could effectively track the movement of medical equipment and personnel in real time. This not only improves control over resources, but also provides a unique opportunity to demonstrate tracking and positioning technologies to potential customers of the company.
Indoor Navigation used Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology to implement the project. Special receivers for reading signals from tags (Navitags) attached to medical equipment were installed in several rooms of the showroom. These tags send signals in real time, which allows the system to accurately display their location on the map with an error of up to 0.5 meters.
The use of UWB technology has made it possible to achieve high positioning accuracy of up to 0.5 meters, which is especially important in medical institutions where precise placement and control of equipment is required. The main advantages of UWB include:
The implementation of the Indoors Navigation Platform in the Techno Medicine showroom demonstrated how modern positioning technologies can enhance the control and management of medical assets. This solution has become an important step in the development of digitalization of medical institutions, allowing real-time tracking of assets and personnel with the highest accuracy.
