Collection and Use of Information by Indoors Navigation
- The information you provide. You are not required to register or provide any personal data to view our website and learn more about our company, products, and technologies. However, if you request or download any official documents, other information, or subscribe to our newsletter, you will need to provide limited personal data, such as your name, email address, and phone number. We will use this information to confirm and fulfill your request. - Indoors Navigation records non-personal information, including IP address, profile information, browser type, browser language, referral links, exit pages, and URLs, platform type, click count, domain names, landing pages after clicking on an ad banner, viewed pages and their order, time spent on specific pages, and mobile device type, IP address, and mobile device operating system. This data is used for managing our website, including diagnosing issues, tracking usage, and improving our website. IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes.
- Cookies: To track which pages of our website you visit, we also use cookies. We use an independent company to help us evaluate the effectiveness of our website usage for visitors. Mobile Product
The Indoors Navigation mobile product is an SDK that collects data about mobile devices. This privacy policy does not govern the use by the publisher (third-party developer) of any personal data you may provide to the publisher via our mobile product or otherwise. Before providing personal data to any publisher, you should review the publisher's privacy policy.
- Automatically collected information – other non-personal information. When you use any of our mobile products, our web server automatically collects limited information about your computer or device configuration, such as the type of software you are using, your operating system, and your IP address. Indoors Navigation records non-personal information, including IP address, SSID/BSSID, profile information, browser type, browser language, platform type, domain names, mobile device type, IP address, and mobile device operating system. This data is used to manage the mobile product, including diagnosing issues, tracking usage, and improving the mobile product.
- Aggregated information used for targeted advertising. We may aggregate information we receive from users of our mobile products and provide it to third parties to create targeted advertising for mobile products. (For example, we may use this data to provide advertisers with general demographic information about the audience.) When we aggregate your information, it does not include any specific personal data, and you cannot be personally identified from this aggregated information.
- Location data. If location sharing is enabled in the app, the mobile product also allows us to collect information about your location or the location of your device using GPS coordinates provided by your mobile device or the strength of the beacon signal if you are near iBeacon and Eddystone sensors. When any of our mobile products are running on your mobile device, we periodically receive location data. Many GPS-enabled mobile devices can determine the user's location with an accuracy of 5 meters. For some devices with location-sharing enabled, we may determine your home or work address based on the most frequent usage statistics.
You can disable location sharing by turning off the GPS feature on your mobile device and rejecting our request for location data when installing the mobile product. If after installing the mobile product you want to opt-out of location data collection, you can change the settings of your mobile device (by disabling the GPS feature in the mobile product) or uninstall the mobile product. If you decide to deny the mobile product permission to collect location data, some services of the mobile product may be unavailable to you, such as weather information for your region, and the ads displayed in the mobile product may be less relevant and interesting for you. Indoors Navigation retains location data and may share it with service providers and partners, including advertising networks, advertising service companies, and third-party information providers, as described below.
- Opt-out from data collection. You can fully stop the collection of any data in our mobile product by uninstalling the mobile product.
Data Storage
If you provide us with personal data through our website, such as registering on our site, you can request that we remove this personal data from our system by sending a request or choosing to restrict advertising tracking on the privacy settings page of your device. We will immediately stop using any such personal data and delete it from our servers within a month. Certain non-personal information related to your use of the website or mobile products (such as device identifiers) may be stored indefinitely, but we do not use or distribute this information after the mobile product has been uninstalled.
Social Media Sites, Links to Other Sites
We may have pages, accounts, or communities on various social media networks and information internet portals or services such as Vkontakte and Facebook. Any information you post or provide through these social media sites, portals, and services will be subject to the privacy policy of the respective site or service.
The website or mobile products may contain advertisements and links to third-party websites or services, the privacy policies of which we do not control. When you navigate to another app or site, the use of any information you provide on that site or app, as well as any information collected by the site operator, is governed by the privacy policy of the operator of the app or site you visit. If you click on an advertiser's link in the mobile product, the advertiser may also track your device. We do not have access to or control over any information they may collect.
Tracking
We stop tracking and collecting personal data about your online actions once you leave our website or mobile product.
Security
Indoors Navigation has taken measures to protect the confidentiality of personal data it collects from users of its website and mobile products. The information we collect is stored in databases controlled by Indoors Navigation (or in databases hosted on our behalf) on servers placed in a secure environment, and access to this information is allowed only to Indoors Navigation employees who, in our opinion, need to be familiar with this data in order to provide you with necessary services or otherwise perform their duties.
